Managing Tenants in WebReports

The Tenants page registers and maintains the tenant licenses used by a WebReports multitenant installation. Each record associates company licensing information with one or more email domains and displays its registration status.

Use this page when adding a licensed tenant, maintaining tenant registration details, or reviewing a tenant’s status. It is available only when the installation supports and enables multitenancy.

Open Tenants

1. Sign in to WebReports with an administrator account.
2. Expand Configuration in the left navigation.
3. Select Tenants.

Find and review a tenant

The grid contains Company ID, License Key, Email Domain, and Status. Use a column’s filter control to narrow the list, or select a column heading to sort. Select a tenant row before using Edit or Delete; these actions are disabled when no row is selected.

Register a tenant

1. Select Register.
2. Enter the tenant’s Company ID, License Key, and Registration Password supplied for that tenant.
3. Enter its Email Domains. Separate multiple domains with semicolons.
4. Review the company and domain associations, then submit with Register. To leave without registering, use the dialog’s cancel or close control.
5. Review the tenant’s Status. If the status is unexpected, verify the registration details with BridgeWorks Support.

Use actual domains owned or administered for that tenant. The example.com record is fictional and must not be used as a production tenant registration.

Update a tenant

1. Select the tenant row, then select Edit.
2. Review and change the editable registration information.
3. Select Update when the information is correct. Update applies the tenant changes immediately without a separate confirmation.
4. Review the resulting status and verify that users associated with the tenant’s email domains can access the intended environment.

Remove a tenant

Select the correct tenant and use Delete only after confirming that it is no longer needed and reviewing the effect on its users and application data. Follow any instructions displayed. Do not assume that a confirmation or an undo action will be available.

Tenant licenses and registration passwords are credentials. Use the tenant registration details issued by BridgeWorks.
