The Registration page identifies and registers the WebReports installation with BridgeWorks. It displays the current registration status, company licensing information, registration contact, offline-license option, and installation ID.
Use this page when registering an installation, updating the responsible contact, or investigating an unexpected registration status. Use Managing Tenants in WebReports for tenant license records in a multitenant environment.
Open Registration
- Sign in to WebReports with an administrator account.
- Expand Configuration in the left navigation.
- Select Registration.
Screenshots use fictional demo data. Example settings are not recommended values or a statement of the defaults. Select an image to view its full size.
Registration with fictional company ID 1001, demo contact information, and a nonworking license placeholder.
Review the registration information
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Registration status | Shows the current status beside the page title; the demo installation displays Active. |
| Company Information | Identifies the licensed company and its registration credentials. Use the details supplied for your installation. |
| User Information | Identifies the registration contact. Keep the email address and name current. |
| Offline License? | Select only when using the offline licensing process supplied by BridgeWorks. |
| ID | Identifies the installation. Use this value when BridgeWorks needs to identify the installation for licensing support. |
Submit or update registration
- Obtain the company registration information issued for your installation. Do not copy the demonstration values.
- Review the company fields and enter the registration credentials where editable.
- Enter the responsible contact’s email address, first name, and last name.
- Set Offline License? only if the offline registration process applies. Contact BridgeWorks Support for the required offline-license instructions.
- Review the information and select Update. Update submits the registration information immediately without a separate confirmation.
- Review the registration status and any returned message. If registration does not succeed, record the message and contact BridgeWorks Support.
Keep license credentials and installation identifiers private. The screenshot deliberately uses a nonworking license and a fictional installation ID.
