Article Goal: Provide information on the configuration options for WebReports.
In this article we provide information on how to change the global application settings / configuration options for WebReports and examples for what each option will change.
Where Can You Change Your Configuration?
WebReports configuration can be changed on the Configuration page under the Management tab.
Report Options
The Report Options section contains configuration options related to sessions, cleanup, caching, etc.
Visualize Report Cache Sliding Expiration (in minutes) - Sets the time in minutes for Visualize report cache expiration.
Reports Cleanup Timer (in hours) - Sets the time in hours to clean the reports datastorage
Scripting (report scripting type) - This setting will either allow or deny scripting in reports.
Scheduler Background TaskQueue Capacity - Sets the maximum number of queued reports running through the scheduler.
Background TaskQueue Capacity - Sets the maximum number of queued reports..
Session TimeOut (in minutes) - Sets how long before the WebReports session times out in minutes.
Enable InMemory Report Cleanup - This will enable / disable the InMemory clean up.
InMemoryReport Remove After inactivity (in days) - Sets the amount of time to clear the InMemory reports in days.
CORS Options
The CORS Options section contains configuration options related to CORS.
Allowed Hosts (separated by semicolon) - Enter the allowed hosts for CORS.
Database Maintenance
The database maintenance configuration allows for sending notifications to the specified emails when the WebReports database reaches a specified memory threshold.
Enable Notification - This will enable / disable sending a notification when the WebReports database has reached a certain memory threshold.
Notification Threshold (in GB) - If the Database maintenance notification is enabled, this will set the threshold that the notification email will be sent at.
Notify Emails (separated by semicolon) - If the Database maintenance notification is enabled, any emails listed here will receive a notification that the WebReports database threshold has been reached.
Application Maintenance
The application maintenance configuration allows for sending notifications to the specified emails when the WebReports application starts.
Enable Start Notification - This will enable / disable sending a notification when the WebReports application starts.
Notify Emails (separated by semicolon) - If the Enable Start Notification setting is enabled, any emails listed here will receive a notification that the WebReports application has been started.
Logging CleanUp Options
The Logging CleanUp configuration allows log clean up to be enabled or disabled and set the amount of days to remove logs after.
Enable - This will enable / disable the setting to clear the logs for WebReports.
Remove Logs After Days - If Logging CleanUp is enabled, the logs will be removed once they reach X days of age. X is based on the days entered into the configuration.
IFRAME Options
If you want to allow a page to be hosted in an iframe on a third-party page, you will need to provide the domain where it will be embedded.
Allowed Hosts (separated by semicolon) - Enter the allowed domain/hosts for hosting the IFRAME.
