Download the Latest WebReports Version

The WebReports download is a ZIP package containing the application files used to deploy WebReports. Use it for a new Windows/IIS installation or a manual update to an existing Windows/IIS installation.

Downloading the package makes the application files available for deployment. It does not install IIS or the ASP.NET Core Hosting Bundle, prepare the application database, or configure and register WebReports. Follow the appropriate installation or update guide after downloading.

Before You Download

• Review WebReports Deployment Requirements and Network Architecture and any release-specific instructions. A newer package may require updated server components.
• Choose a download or staging folder that the deployment administrator can access. Keep the downloaded ZIP and extracted staging files separate from the live WebReports application directory.
• If you are updating an existing installation, review Update WebReports to the Latest Version before replacing application files. Downloading a new package does not back up the existing installation, configuration, or database.

Download WebReports

1. Select Download the Latest WebReports ZIP Package to obtain the package directly from BridgeWorks.
2. If the browser asks where to save the file, select your approved download or staging folder.
3. Wait until the browser reports that the download has completed. The package is named WebReportsInstall.zip; the browser may add a suffix if a file with that name already exists.

Demo path: C:\Demo\Downloads\WebReportsInstall.zip is an illustrative location. Use an existing folder appropriate for your deployment.

The download link supplies the current package available from BridgeWorks. Its file size and contents can change between releases. The ZIP filename alone does not establish the application version that is installed on a server.

After Downloading

1. Confirm the download completed. Locate the ZIP in the selected folder. Do not deploy an incomplete browser download or a file that cannot be opened as a ZIP archive.
2. Check whether Windows blocked the trusted ZIP. Follow Unblock WebReports Files before extraction. If the Unblock option is not shown, continue as described in that article.
3. Extract to a staging folder. Locate the extracted application folder containing appsettings.json, wwwroot, and the other WebReports application files. Use the installation or update guide below to deploy the correct folder contents.

If the download is interrupted or the archive cannot be opened or extracted, obtain a fresh copy using the official link above before continuing. Contact BridgeWorks Support if the problem persists.

Existing configuration: Do not copy the new package over a working installation without following the update procedure. The package's appsettings.json must not overwrite the existing environment-specific configuration.

Updating WebReports
