Article Goal
Show the steps required to create a Job inside VDM's scheduler, which can then be used for automated report execution.
What Is a Job in VDM?
A Job in VDM is a saved automation task that can run one or more Views with one or more Executions (parameter sets). These jobs can later be scheduled to run at specific times using the VDM Scheduler.
Tip: One job can execute multiple views with multiple parameter combinations—all in a single VDM session.
Example Job Configuration
Let’s say you have:
Job1 that includes View1 and View2
View1 runs 5 executions (different parameters)
View2 runs 10 executions
That means: Job1 will run 15 total executions across 2 Views in one scheduled VDM session.
Note: One appointment on the Scheduler Calendar = one VDM64.exe session.
