Article Goal: Troubleshoot WebReports startup using the logs in the wwwroot/App_Data folder.
In this article we show how to use the logs in the wwwroot\App_Data folder to troubleshoot WebReports start up challenges.
Example Logs directory path: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\App_Data
Steps to View WebReports Startup Logs
Note: In order for WebReports to write logs to the App_Data folder, you will need to make sure that the IIS_IUSRS account has full permission to the wwwroot folder or whatever Path is defined in IIS.
1. Browse to the c:\inetpub\wwwroot\App_Data directory (can copy paste from above).
2. Open the Logs folder.
3. Open the Log file.
