Bug Fixes
-
Master jobs referencing renamed or missing views (Bug 2002)
Fixed a crash that occurred when a master job referenced a view that had been renamed or was missing. -
Numeric column types in WebReports results (Bug 2010)
Fixed an issue where numeric columns containing only null values lost their numeric type when VDM received results through WebReports. -
InterProse ACE request timeout handling (Bug 2016)
Updated direct InterProse ACE queries to remove the client's default five-minute read/write timeout while preserving query and result handling. -
Site licensing with shared roaming profiles (Bug 2017)
Fixed an issue where refreshing a site license on one server caused other load-balanced servers sharing the same roaming profile to appear unregistered.
Local License Filename When Upgrading
Starting with VDM 2026.10.12, the local license file is named <LicenseKey>.licx, using the License Key entered during registration. It is stored in the current Windows user’s %APPDATA%\BridgeWorks VDM folder.
For an already registered installation, VDM automatically updates the local license filename on the next startup after the upgrade. The original VDM.licx file is not removed, so both filenames can appear in the folder. A license reset is not required solely for this filename update.
For folder details and troubleshooting, see Understanding VDM Install Folder Locations and How to Reset Your VDM License and Re-Register.
