Clearing Scheduler Historical Data

In this guide, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of running VDM as an admin, accessing the Settings menu, adjusting the Historical Data setting, and effectively managing database bloat caused by logging. By following these instructions, you can streamline your Scheduler database and ensure smooth operation of your Scheduler jobs.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Run VDM as an administrator to access the Service Options (Only available when launched as administrator).
2. Navigate to the Settings menu within VDM.
3. Click on Service Options to reveal additional configuration settings specific to the Scheduler Service.
4. Scroll down to locate the Historical Data option located under the Scheduler Service section.
5. Adjust the setting as needed (Default is set to 60 days). The Historical Data setting will clear database fields 6 and 7, which store completion and start times for Scheduler jobs.
