If a chart appears blank or empty after exporting a Finished Report to Excel, increase the Rasterization Resolution under the XLSX export settings.
This setting controls the resolution used when rasterizing report images for Excel export.
Update the XLSX Export Settings
- Open the report in Finished Reports Designer.
- Select the report so the Properties panel displays the report settings.
- Expand XLSX Export Options.
- Locate Rasterization Resolution.
- Increase the value to 300.
- Confirm that Rasterize Images is enabled.
- Save the report.
- Export the Finished Report to Excel again.

When to Use This Setting
Increasing the Rasterization Resolution is only necessary when charts export to Excel as blank, empty, or incomplete.
If the chart is already exporting correctly, there is no need to change this setting.
If the Chart Is Still Blank
If increasing the Rasterization Resolution does not resolve the issue:
- Confirm the chart displays correctly in Preview.
- Save the Finished Report and export it again.
- Review the report for other image or export-related settings.
- Contact BridgeWorks Support if the chart continues to export incorrectly.
