VDM and WebReports periodically validate their licenses to confirm that the subscription is active. In VDM, you can view your license status and the next scheduled validation date from Settings.
Check Your License Status and Next Validation Date
- Open VDM.
- Select Settings at the bottom of the VDM window.
- On the right side of the Settings screen, locate License Information.
- Review Next Lic Check Date and Status.
Next Lic Check Date shows when the next license validation is scheduled. The date displayed in your installation will differ from the date shown in an example screenshot.
License Information Fields
| Field | Description |

| Type | The license type assigned to your VDM installation, such as Developer or View Only. |
| Site License | Indicates whether the installation uses a site license. |
| Register Date | The registration date displayed for the installation. |
| Next Lic Check Date | The next scheduled license-validation date. |
| Status | The license status displayed by VDM, such as Active or Inactive. |
View Your Company's Licenses
To review licenses registered to your organization, select View Company Licenses beneath the license information. You will be prompted for your registration password.

If Your License Is Inactive or Validation Fails
If VDM reports an inactive license or displays a license-validation error, contact BridgeWorks Support. Include the error message, your VDM version, and the status and next check date displayed in Settings. Do not include your license key or registration password.
