Why Import Your CALENDAR?
Importing your CALENDAR file into the SQL Scheduler eliminates the need to manually recreate scheduled jobs. This is particularly useful for organizations moving to a production-ready SQL-based scheduler setup.
Where Do You Import It?
You can import your CALENDAR file directly from the Tasks ribbon bar in the VDM Scheduler interface.
Steps to Import CALENDAR File into SQL Scheduler
1. Open the Scheduler or click Calendar on VDM’s main screen.
2. Go to the Tasks ribbon bar.
3. Click Import Calendar File.
4. Browse for and select the CALENDAR file you want to import.
5. Wait a few seconds for appointments to populate. Verify the calendar reflects the correct appointments.
Note: If you accidentally import the wrong CALENDAR file, you can click Clear All Appointments and try again.
Use caution when clearing all appointments – This action will delete all appointments currently in the database.
