Markup Text Syntax Reference for Finished Reports

Use this article as a quick reference for supported markup tags that can be used with Allow Markup Text in Finished Reports.

The following expression applies bold formatting to the field labels while leaving the values dynamic:

'<b>Order Date: </b> ' + [OrderDate] +
'<b>Freight: </b> ' + [Freight] +
'<b>OrderID: </b> ' + [OrderID]

Note: If a hyperlink URL contains spaces, place the URL value in quotes.

Markup tags can be combined with fields and text using +.

Example:

"Hello " + '<b>' + [Field] + '</b>'

This allows the displayed value from the field to inherit the markup formatting.
