Steps to Create and Connect to a Rocket U2 Connection in VDM
1: Open VDM: Launch VDM on your system.
2: Navigate to the Database Tab: Click on the Database tab located at the top-left of the VDM interface.
3: Click the New Button: Click the New button to begin creating a new connection profile.
4: Select Rocket U2 as the Connection Type: From the list of available connection types, choose Rocket U2.
5: Disable the Prefix Option: Uncheck the option labeled Prefix TO/Schema Name, then click Next.
6. Enter Your Username and Password: Provide the login credentials required to authenticate with the Rocket U2 database.
7. Enter Your Server Address: Type in the Server name or IP address for your Rocket U2 host.
⚠️ Important Notes:
Linux Docker + ResolveIP = True → Use DNS name (not IP)
Linux Docker + ResolveIP = False → Use IP address (not DNS name)
Windows → You may use either IP or DNS name
8. Enter Your Database Name: Provide the name of the Rocket U2 database you wish to connect to.
9. Select Platform: Select your desired Platform.
10. Test and Save the Connection: Click Test Connection to verify your settings.
