What’s New & Improved
This release includes improvements to WebReports usability and reporting functionality. Automatic SQL Server index maintenance, Additional email delivery options, Role type indicators, and Earlier report permission checks have been updated to improve clarity, configuration, and day-to-day report workflows.
Automatic SQL Server index maintenance (Task 1726)
Daily WebReports database maintenance now reorganizes or rebuilds fragmented indexes for Microsoft SQL Server databases. This maintenance is available for SQL Server only.
Additional email delivery options (Task 1974)
WebReports adds email delivery options compatible with .NET 10, including Microsoft Graph, for scheduled reports, notifications, and other application emails. Existing SMTP functionality remains available.
Role type indicators (Task 2009)
Visual indicators distinguish roles that grant functionality from roles used only for report assignments.
Earlier report permission checks (Task 2012)
WebReports checks report execution permissions before displaying parameter prompts. Users without permission receive a clear access-denied message before entering parameters. Administrators can still see all reports, while execution remains controlled by their assigned roles.
