What’s New & Improved
This release includes improvements to WebReports usability and reporting functionality. Configuration Changes No Longer Require a Restart, New WebReports Statistics, and Configuration Help Is Available In WebReports have been updated to improve clarity, configuration, and day-to-day report workflows.
Configuration Changes No Longer Require a Restart (Task 1978)
WebReports configuration changes now take effect without restarting the application. Changes apply immediately on the instance where they are saved and propagate to other running instances within 60 seconds; the previous Stop Application control has also been removed.
New WebReports Statistics (Task 1979)
The optional Statistics feature provides administrators with live and historical views of report activity, queue workloads, CPU usage, memory usage, and returned dataset sizes. Configurable collection and retention settings support operational analysis, and Statistics history can be included when importing WebReports data. Report parameters and report output are not stored.
Configuration Help Is Available In WebReports (Task 1983)
Configuration settings now include information icons that open detailed descriptions directly in WebReports. The new guidance explains each setting's purpose, expected behavior, defaults, and important considerations without requiring a separate support-site lookup.
Bug Fixes
-
Improved Report Queueing Controls (Bug 1977)
The report viewer now provides Queue through the Run report menu and submits queued reports without the previous fixed delay. This creates a clearer, more responsive queueing experience and helps prevent repeated queue actions while a request is being submitted. -
User Role Changes Display Immediately (Bug 1980)
Resolved an issue where adding or removing a user's role did not update the selected user's card after saving. The card and assigned-report information now reflect the user's current roles immediately. -
Ask Bridgit Visibility Follows Role Permissions (Bug 1981)
Ask Bridgit now appears in Finished Reports and Visualize only for users with the Admin or Bridgit Analysis role. Users without either role no longer see the feature or have access to its viewer chat. -
User Invitation Emails Send Reliably (Bug 1984)
Resolved an issue that could prevent a newly invited user's email from being sent after the account was created. Invitation, password-reset, and username-recovery emails now use the correct background processing context for reliable delivery.
