What’s New & Improved
This release includes an improvement to WebReports usability and reporting functionality. All-Day Scheduling Option Removed has been updated to improve clarity, configuration, and day-to-day report workflows.
All-Day Scheduling Option Removed (Task 1945)
The unsupported All-Day scheduling option has been removed from WebReports scheduling. This prevents confusion when creating single-day scheduled jobs and keeps the scheduling interface focused on the repeat and date options that WebReports supports.
Bug Fixes
-
Views With Empty Sort Fields Run Correctly (Bug 1941)
Resolved an issue where a View could fail when its sorting configuration included an empty sort field. WebReports now skips blank sort entries during SQL and client-side sorting, allowing the Data Grid, Summary Grid, Finished Report, and Visualize outputs to load correctly. -
MySQL Support Updated for .NET 10 (Bug 1942)
Resolved an issue with MySQL support in the .NET 10 WebReports environment. WebReports now uses the updated MySQL Entity Framework provider path and adjusted connection handling so MySQL-backed report and API workflows can run correctly while preserving existing SQL Server behavior. -
Report Completion Notifications Go to the Requesting User (Bug 1943)
Resolved an issue where report completion notifications could be sent to a broader administrator group instead of only the user who queued, downloaded, or re-ran the report. Completion notifications are now routed to the initiating user so report status messages reach the correct recipient. -
Repeat Scheduling Options Hide When Repeat Is Disabled (Bug 1944)
Resolved an issue where repeat scheduling options could remain visible even when Repeat was disabled. The scheduling form now resets recurrence state when it opens, showing repeat settings only when Repeat is enabled and hiding them when the scheduled job is not recurring.
