What’s New & Improved
This release includes new Visualize display options, improved WebReports startup notifications, and expanded Bridgit AI functionality for Finished Reports and Visualize.
Visualize Dark Mode Toggle (Task 1236)
Visualize now includes a toggle for dark mode, allowing users to switch between light and dark modes. This toggle is located in the top-right corner of the Visualize screen, enabling users to adjust their viewing experience directly within the report interface.
Testing has confirmed that the dark mode can be successfully toggled on and off in Visualize. The display works properly when changing between themes.
WebReports Startup Notifications Now Include Host Name (Task 1730)
WebReports application startup notifications have been improved to include the server hostname in the notification details. This helps administrators quickly identify which WebReports server generated the startup notification, making it easier to monitor environments with multiple WebReports instances.
Testing confirmed that after restarting WebReports, the startup email notification was received and included the updated notification information.
Bridgit AI Analysis and Chat Added to Finished Reports and Visualize (Task 1870)
Bridgit AI Analysis and Chat functionality has been added for Finished Reports and Visualize. This expands AI-assisted reporting capabilities by allowing users with the appropriate access to interact with report and visualization content using Bridgit AI.
This enhancement includes support for Bridgit AI configuration, secured API key storage, role-based access managed through the Bridgit AI role, View-based prompt handling, and logging to support usage visibility and future reporting. Additionally, several usability improvements have been made, including updates to chat interactions such as the ability to send messages by pressing Enter and Shift + Enter to create new lines.

User Defined Field Updates Not Persisting in Management - Users (Bug 1848)
An issue has been resolved regarding User-Defined Field updates in Management - Users. Previously, these updates were not consistently saving correctly, especially when enabling a User-Defined Field without assigning a value. The update now ensures proper handling of User Defined Fields, whether they have values or not. It safely stores blank values so that user management changes are preserved. Testing has confirmed that User Defined Fields can now be added both with and without values.
