In this article we are going to cover the steps and examples to leverage the enhanced format and types for the Date Time Picker parameters.

What Are The Types of Date Time Pickers?

There are three main types of Date Time Pickers. You can select a date, a time, or a date and time.

Where Do You Set Up Date Time Picker Parameters?

You can set up the Date Time Picker parameters by clicking on Parameters from VDM's main screen.

Steps To Setup Date Time Picker Parameters.

1. Open or create a view.

2. Click on Parameters, then click Add Parameter.

3. Set the Type (Date Time Picker) and Datatype (DateTime).

OPTIONAL: Set a Name and Description for the parameter.

4. Set up the FSGS to use the DTP parameter as needed.

Note: This example uses the DTP to look for the Date_Call_Began and Time_Call_Began time greater than or equal to the DTP selected date.

5. Run the view and select your Date / Time / Date Time depending on the setup. 

Note: When selecting the time press the Enter key.

6. Verify the returned data.

Example: Dates & Calls greater  than or equal to 9/6/2016 00:00:00 AM
