Allows user control over the environmental settings of VDM

NLS Date Format: When enabled this option will change the date format for any applied date filter to YYYY-MM-DD.

Persistent Connection: When enabled allows VDM to maintain an open database connection for up to 10 minutes after the last search has completed.  When disabled VDM will close the database connection immediately after each View is searched and re-open the connection when a new search is initiated.  It is recommended that Persistent Connection be enabled as it improves VDM's overall performance.

Smart Filtering: When enabled VDM will attempt to detect the data type for any item being filtered and prompt if a potential challenge is detected with the filter.

Special Character Support: When enabled VDM will add quotes (") around each table and field name: Example "Customers"."Customer Number".  This option may be required for some databases when building reports and queries.

Enable SCS Brackets: When enabled VDM will add brackets [ ] around each table and field name: Example [Customers].[Customer Number].  This option may be required for some databases when building reports and queries.

Verbose Logging: When enabled VDM will perform more complete and robust logging.  This option is useful for diagnosing challenges.

Default Client Side Grouping: When enabled VDM will default new Views to use Client Side Grouping.  Client Side Grouping enables VDM to complete all grouping and summaries, defined on the FSGS tab, within VDM.  When Client Side Grouping is disabled all grouping and summaries, defined on the FSGS tab, will be completed on the server/database side.

Default Client Side Sorting: When enabled VDM will default new Views to use Client Side Sorting.  Client Side Sorting enables VDM to complete all sorting, defined on the FSGS tab, within VDM.  When Client Side Sorting is disabled all grouping and summaries, defined on the FSGS tab, will be completed on the server/database side.

AS update (Minutes): Sets, in number of minutes, the frequency that VDM will check for new, updated or deleted Auto Scheduler jobs while the Auto Scheduler is enabled. A value of 0 disables this feature and the Auto Scheduler will need to be manually disabled and re-enabled for VDM to accept changes to Auto Scheduler jobs.

Max List Size: The maximum list size that VDM will allow before breaking a filtered list into sub queries.
