Adding Reserved Words (Dates) to the File Name (Before / After)

In this article we cover the steps of adding Reserved Word dates to the file names when using the Scheduler. This will allow users to schedule jobs to run on certain days and the file name can be named independently of the day it was ran. For example, a job is ran on the first of the month but needs to show the last day of the previous month for the file name, you could use @LastDayofLastMonth

Steps to Add Reserved Words to the File Name (Before / After).
1. Open VDM
2. Go into the Scheduler and select Job.
3. Create or Edit an existing Job using the Wizard.
4. Once on the Export options of the Wizard, enable the Add Date Before / After checkbox as needed, then enter the desired reserved word. Default: @Date.
For more information on reserved words click here. Please note, ranged reserved words should NOT be used when entering a Date Value for the file name.
5. Preview the desired output below before continuing and saving the changes to your Job setup.
