Changing the Multi Query Name Splitter is more of a convenience / easiest to remember situation. This allows you to set the value to whatever is easiest to remember for you. Please note that this is a view option (specifically set per view).

Steps to Change the Multi Query Name Splitter Value.

1. Open VDM.

2. Open / Create a view, then click on View Options.

3. Click on the Multi Query Name Splitter button.

NOTE: The default value is "MQN_As"

4. Set the value you want to use for your Multi Query Name Splitter.

NOTE: You will need to save the view in order to keep the changes (view options are specific to the view).

5. Make any needed adjustments to your advanced query using the new value if you were using a different MQN value prior to the change.
