Basic Cards:

1. Click the Cards Icon to insert this element into the Data Visualization.
2. Drag a field into the Cards actual
3. Drag a field into the Cards series
4. Right Click in the fields list and add a calculated field
• Right click on the calculated field and rename to Target
• Right Click Target select edit
• Set the target
5. Drag the Target field into the Cards target
6. Click the drop down and change the target from (Sum) to (Max)

Example Northwinds Cards:

1. Click the Cards Icon to insert this element into the Data Visualization
2. Drag the Freight field into the Cards actual
   • Click the drop down for Freight
   • Select Format…
   • Set Format Type to Number
   • Check the Include group separator
3. Drag the EmployeeID field into the Cards series.
4. Right Click in the fields list and add a calculated field
   1. Right click on the calculated field and rename to Target
   2. Right Click Target select edit
   3. Set the target of 10000
5. Drag the Target field into the Cards target
6. Click the drop down and change the target from (Sum) to (Max)

This example shows the sum of Freight by EmployeeID in comparison to the set target of 10,000.
